2 track live recording from UK experimenters Bismuth, a crawling dirge of somnambulist Drone/Doom and Narcotic, harsh Ambience. Minimalist Drum and Bass arrangements emphasise the puncture of negative space, keeping things contextually spacious and persistently, slowly, dreadfully shambling forward, with throaty vocal screed barked over yawning, croaking low register feedback, leaden riffs and hammerfall Drums. Doom, dread and disease straight out of the foetid marsh. The live recording gives a sense of space and volume to Bismuth’s horrid lake dragging, and drops you right into the murky atmosphere and cult vibes. Wonderful.
