A single track from Clipping, remixing the Foot Village track of the same name. Small samples of the original track are reverberated into perpetuity, forming the beats/rudiments to underpin super lyrical flows. The whole deal is drenched in weird outsider vibes, and although the Foot Village track is used sparingly, the spastic, enraged hippy/slippy taste of Foot Village is well captured. Antagonistic, noisy and chaotic, and another prime example of Clipping’s relevance. Very dissonant but strangely catchy and driving. I’ve listened to this one track more often than I care to mention. An essential companion to the earlier reviewed ‘Midcity’, if you enjoyed that one you need this too.
